Indy Pass Expands Cross Country Offerings

Cross country resort partners will offer two trail passes to all Indy passholders and an all-new Indy XC Pass is on sale now for $69

PORTLAND, Ore. (April 12, 2022) – The Indy Pass today announced new partnerships with six cross-country resorts that will offer two daily trail passes each for all Indy Pass holders. In addition, an all-new Indy XC Pass goes on sale today that offers two trail passes at each resort for $69 for adults and $29 for kids. The Indy Pass developed the program in partnership with the Cross Country Ski Areas Association (CCSAA) and will donate 10% of pass sales to the non-profit group.

“The partnership with Indy Pass and Cross Country Ski Areas Association is an exciting and logical next step as we see explosive cross-country skiing growth, said Reese Brown, executive director of the CCSAA. As people begin to travel again and the number of alpine skiers visiting cross country centers increases, the Indy XC Pass offers great value.”

“There are millions of cross country skiers in North America and a large percentage of them also take part in alpine skiing, said Doug Fish, Indy Pass founder. The Indy Pass is excited to welcome this passionate community of skiers and independent resorts to our coalition and we are proud to help find common ground (snow-covered that is) for all those who love sliding on snow.”

Indy Pass and CCSAA expect over 30 resorts to join before the 22-23 season and have secured commitments from seven founding resorts including High Point Cross Country Ski Center, NJ; JacksonXC, NH; Mapelap Resort, MN; White Grass Touring Center, WV; Waterville Valley Resort, NH; Woodstock Nordic Center, VT; and returning partner Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, BC.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Indy next winter by joining the Indy Cross Country Pass, said Tim Smith, president/GM at Waterville Valley Resort. We’ve partnered with Indy for the past two seasons and found incredible success, so we’re delighted to join this new pass and expand access to our 72km of groomed Nordic ski trails.”
