I’d say try them all. The labor market is a mess these days and finding the right combination of desire, money and location will be key. Especially important is location – resort communities are basically not affordable for housing the workers or their managers.
Yep, housing is a perpetual problem. I’ve thought about a yurt village which has seasonal potential, or tiny houses, but there are still capital issues + water/power/sewer, permitting, maintenance… and of course land. Might explore coop possibilities within communities, with summer rentals of yurts/tiny houses.
