We ended up doing a temporary swap with a friendly nearby XC area that “fortunately” had the opposite inventory situation (we needed kids stuff, they needed adult). For next year, not selling any rental inventory and hoping some new orders materialize.

We looked at them (Fare Harbor and Gearo) but did not see enough of an advantage. We do not have a summer operation, though. Will be interested in your experiences.

Interested but as another poster mentioned, travel during the season when there is snow on the ground is a challenge. Might work better to gather at a downhill area at the end of the season or super early in the season, although then we would not be facing actual xc trail situations. It’s perplexing
