One of the goals of the CCSAA data collection initiative is to provide country and state wide data.  Unfortunately, the only state or province that had enough respondents was Vermont.  One third of the ski areas in Vermont completed the survey giving us a representative number to extrapolate results.  A few of those results are here:

Total skier days – 332,486
Length of ski season – 118 days
Percentage of ski areas upgrading rental fleet – 90%
Total dollars spent at Vermont ski areas – $4,449,599

Note – CCSAA relies on all ski areas to complete the End of Season Survey to gather accurate information.  If you are still reading this, you are very interested in this data.  If you have not completed the survey, please consider doing so now.  Your information will be processed by a third party and all identifiers scrubbed with the exception of state or province, before CCSAA sees it.   TAKE THE SURVEY NOW!
